Designing custom tools for watch design
Before I started working at Hodinkee I established a system for building radial patterns in Figma. To help automate this process, I developed a custom Figma plugin specifically for watch design. Over 11 thousand people have installed the plugin which is available via the Figma Community.
Building radial design systems
Radium is designed to enable rapid iteration of radial systems. By using nested components with rotation offsets, we can adjust the distance of objects relative to their central rotation point while maintaining their upright orientation.
